Will I have to buy ServiceMax subscriptions for all my salesforce users?
NO. Anyone that uses ServiceMax functionality to transact business will need a subscription to
ServiceMax. That typically includes call center & tech support agents, service operations personnel,
field technicians, repair center technicians and service management personnel. The rest of the
salesforce users in your organization do not need ServiceMax subscriptions. |

YES. ServiceMax Mobile Edition leverages the salesforce mobile deployment infrastructure, and can be
deployed on all the mobile devices supported by salesforce.com |

Can my field technician use ServiceMax on the road?
YES. ServiceMax Mobile Edition has an offline client that can be deployed on field service technician
laptop. Using ServiceMax offline client, technicians download information on their laptops and function
without internet connectivity on the road. Once they are back at their offices, they can synchronize their
updates back to the central database. |

ServiceMax is deployed 100% on salesforce.com. That means, all the data that you put into
ServiceMax will get stored in the salesforce database. ServiceMax does not use any external

ServiceMax is installed like any other AppExchange application. When you are ready, Maxplore
engineers with work with your salesforce.com administrator to deploy and configure ServiceMax on

immediately use it to run your business. |

of your business processes, your data migration requirements and integration requirements typical
